Mission Statement:

It is our goal, in establishing this organization, to provide the community of Bellingham an alternative to police escorts and intervention, as well as build trust and strength between community members. We are an all volunteer organization comprised of students and workers. We aim to alleviate many of the stresses that arise from a patriarchal society, by providing both men and women with an outlet for support. The services that we offer include:

- Night time Patrols of the downtown vicinity, specifically those areas around bars and clubs. While on patrol we will keep watch for, and intervene if need be, any abusive dynamic that is presented to us. All actions taken are non-violent and aim to ensure the long term well being of the party's involved

- Night time(only) accompaniment from anywhere within a three mile radius of downtown to your home. (this covers the WWU campus, Fairhaven, Sehome, Alabama, Lakeway, and some of Sunset and Meridian)
  • We will typically meet you by bike or on foot if the volunteer is nearby, and then accompany you where you need to go
  • All our volunteers have had training in basic self defense, recognizing abusive dynamics and responding with non-violent conflict resolution skills. Our volunteer team is gender-inclusive, and there will always be a female-identified volunteer on shift.
- All volunteers have signed contracts and are kept on record. They agree to abide by our Code of Conduct, which is then enforced by a tight knit community

- All of this is available for FREE
